Hargrave 5 – South County 16
The Hargrave Tiger traveled Salem Wednesday evening to take on South County Lacrosse Club in a make-up game that was postponed. T he Tigers would strike first with a goal by Junior Michael Princivil with the assist credited to Senior J.C. Shelton. The tigers would hold the 1-0 score for most of the first quarter until a late goal by South County squared the game up at one all. The fell behind late in th second quarter as South County scored 3 unanswered goals.
The Tigers would rally early in the second half to bring the game with in closing distance with a pair of goals from Michael Princivil with Reeves Hollar and J.C. Shelton gaining an assist each.
Late game penalties would cause the Tigers to play most of the second half down a man allowing for several unchallenged goals by South County. The tigers would continue to press on as the never gave up. Hargrave would gain two more tallies in the goal column as Senior Oliver Salman and Sophomore Nathan Davenport would each add a score. Max Baldino and Oliver Salman would record the assist on either goal.
Senior Goalie Stefan Taylor recorded 8 saves on the night and Senior back-up Reilly Embrey recorded 4.
