The Tiger Shooters fired their highest score of the season and defeated Fork Union. This final match closes out the regular season and the Tigers Shooters finish 8-0 for an undefeated season.
There were again, numerous personal bests and match highs achieved during the match. Haymes tied this years high match score by firing a 276. He also fired an 86 standing, the team’s highest standing score of the season. Lazo fired a 96 kneeling, the teams highest kneeling score of the season. Perry also fired a 96, (team high), prone score for the match.
Two of the first year shooters, Gladding and Forrester broke the 250 barrier. They both fired strong matches and Gladding was part of the top 4. Perry, the team’s only returning senior, finished his final regular season match with his second best score of the season (259).

All of these fine young men gave it their all (and then some) this season and fired with maturity and discipline. They are a pleasure to coach and deserve heart-felt congratulations. The season summary will be provided with the results of next week’s state match.
