The HMA rifle team finished their second consecutive undefeated season and took first place at the state tournament for the second consecutive year as well. There were also nine individual awards presented to HMA shooters.
Tournament Summary
At the state tournament the shooters fire 20 rounds in each position (prone, standing & kneeling), 10 points per shot, for a possible score of 600 points.

The team would like to extend a special thanks to Randy Cleveland, Mike Cleveland, Keith Shields and Ricky Watlington. Before the start of the season they installed new carpet on the firing line, new tile in the locker room and entry area, and new track lighting in the target area. Because of their hard work and craftsmanship, the range has an awesome new appearance. We would like to extend a thank you to the Gladdings and Knepplers for donating food and funds for the state tournament trip. The boys and the coach are always grateful for something to eat on the road.
