Varsity Soccer earns 2nd straight National Academic Award

In what was one of their best seasons year-to-date (15-3-1 last season), the 2016 Varsity Soccer team was awarded by the United Soccer Coaches Association (world’s largest coaches’ association) as one of the top high school academic programs for the second straight year.

“To be recognized for the second year in a row is a tremendous honor,” stated Head Coach Jeremy Eubank. “This is a true testament to our faculty and staff that have invested countless hours to helping our students obtain their academic goals.”

Hargrave is one of six schools in the state of Virginia that earned this award. In addition, Hargrave was the only military school in the country was selected was this award for the second straight year.

“One of six schools in the state of Virginia and the only military school in the country, speaks volumes about who we are and what do as a school,” stated Eubank. “Our commitment to help develop our young men academically, athletically, and socially will always be there and will be a staple of what we do as a school.”
