Hargrave 0 – Carlisle 0 in OT
The Tigers and the Chiefs of Carlisle exchanged several near scoring opportunities, but due to near misses and superb keeper play from both sides the match ended at a scoreless draw.
Tiger goalkeeper Nathan Bloom once again played superbly in net as he came up with several key saves to hold Chiefs scoreless throughout the match. Bloom finished the day with nine saves on 14 shots. Chief’s goalkeeper Sydnor Trent also played superbly in net denying all of the Tiger’s scoring opportunities as he finished with eight saves on 12 attempts from the Tigers.
Once again the game went to overtime marking the Tiger’s third straight overtime match. Although, neither side was able to capitalize as the final whistle sounded.
With the tie the Tigers move to 7-3-2 overall, 6-2-2 in conference play on the season.
