Hargrave 0 – EMHS 2
The Tigers played very well against a good foe in Eastern Mennonite. The Tigers only allowed the foe to score one goal per half, which was great since the Tiger legs were tired with the 4th game in 5 days. It was a lovely sunny afternoon in the 70’s played in front of a good home crowd with Parents Weekend activities just prior to game time.
Eastern Mennonite was able to control most of the action while getting off 19 shots and 8 corner kicks. The Tigers had few opportunities to score with only 3 shots and no corner kicks. The Eastern Mennonite team has one of the best defenses in the league and they showed why.
The Tigers now await the results of this weeks games to see where we will play next Tuesday for the first round of the playoffs, which will be an away game.
