Hargrave 9 – Fishburne 1
The HMA Tigers were hungary and came out with great focus and controlled the match from beginning to end, scoring 4 goals in first half and adding 5 more in the second.
Austin Nolen had two goals in the first half to help the winning effort. Zach Foster placed a beautiful bending shot into the top left corner for another score. Mohamed Abouzied also had a lovely shot into the net to make the score 4-0 for halftime.
The Tigers continued making great passes in the second half and were rewarded with some good shots. The Tigers had 24 shots and 10 corner kicks for the game, showing good composure. John Wilkes Barber had a nice goal to get things started for the second half. Austin Nolen was taken down in the penalty box to earn a Penalty Kick which he converted on to earn a hat trick (three goals in a game). Ben Luther added a nice shot to the lower left side net for a score. Yassin Asfour added a nice goal. Mohamed Abouzied also scored again for a total of two goals for the game. It was a very balenced attack by the Tigers.
The Tigers needed this tune-up for the two tough final games of the regular season this weekend, Friday evening at Carlisle at 8 PM, then 1:15 PM on Saturday at home against Eastern Mennonite.
