Hargrave 4 – Fishburne 1
The Tigers held their own against Fishburne Military Academy and came earned a well deserved win. In the first half, Fishburne scored first in the m16th minute but Dapo Omisore was able to outmaneuver his defender and take a shot to tie us up in the 26th minute.
In the second half, it was all Hargrave! Dapo Omisore scored his second goal of the game in the 49th minute off a pass by Forrest Brown. Quin Chang-Darnell scored his first goal of the season in the 66th minute when Fishburne’s keeper drew the foul on a 50-50 ball that he and Quin were battling over. Our final goal was scored by Raad Al-Shinibr when he took a shot from the top of the eighteen in the 76th minute.
Defensively, Ben Baker, Evan Starks, Sam Shuey, and Josh Sadler kept Fishburne to 11 shots on goal while Jay Suthard had 10 saves on the game.
