Goalkeeper Nathan Bloom played superbly in net for the Tigers as he finished the match with 14 saves on 26 shots, but came up one save short of earning the well-deserved clean sheet. The Tigers were able to withstand a lackluster performance in the first half, but a renewed second half came up just short as the Tigers fell to the Bulldogs of Liberty Christian 0-1.
After a poor performance in the first half of play the Tigers were able to hold off the offensive pressure of the Bulldogs to make it to the half tied at 0-0. The Tigers faced 18 shots in the first half from the Bulldogs, but with a couple of near misses, and outstanding saves from Bloom the Tigers were able to make it safely to halftime without giving up a goal.
In the second half the Tigers came out with a renewed presence. The Bulldogs still were able to create a few good chances at the Hargrave net, but the Tigers started creating chances of their own. Although, despite the renewed performance from the Tigers in the second half the Bulldogs were the first to sneak in front after a goal with 14 minutes remaining in the match. Goalkeeper Nathan Bloom almost came up with another incredible save, but the diving attempt tipped off his outstretched hands and into the back of the net. For the remaining 14 minutes the Tigers pressed forward, but came up short on several occasions, and were handed the 0-1 loss.
