Hargrave 4 – Miller 5
Hargrave lost to Miller School in a very close match. Scoring first was Forrest Brown in the second minute of action. Miller tied it up in the 7th minute but Raad Al-shinibr gave us the lead once again in the 14th minute of play by receiving a ball from Ben Baker and burying it in the back of the net. Unfortunately, Miller would come back with a couple goals and go into the half with a lead of 3-2.
In the second half, Miller and Hargrave both traded own-goals due to unfortunate mistakes made by hard working defenders. Tying the game up in the 63rd minute was Dapo Omisore off an indirect kick taken by Raad Al-shinibr. Both teams worked hard to secure a win for the remaining time but were unable to do so forcing us into overtime.
The first period of over time came and went with no one scoring but everyone battling. Miller scored in the 87th minute (second overtime period) and we were unable to finish a couple of shots that we had to tie it back up. Jay Suthard had a very good game in goal with 5 saves.
