Hargrave 0 – North Cross 2
The Tigers were held scoreless for the first time this season as North Cross handed the home side their first defeat in 11 games.
The Tigers were unable to find the momentum during the first period of play as their opponent were able to control most of the midfield possession. Despite the Tigers poor play they were still yet able to create several good looks in front of North Cross goal. Although, the near misses would leave the opportunity open for North Cross to grab the advantage with their first 19 minutes into the match, and their second 11 minutes later to take the 0-2 lead.
The second half proved to be played in the Tiger’s favor as the home side created several great scoring opportunities. Yet, despite outshooting their opponent 12-5 during second half play, the Tigers were unable to find the back of the net, and were handed the 0-2 loss.
