Varsity Swimming/Diving vs. George Washington HS/Franklin Co./Halifax

Last night the swim team improved its record to 8-0-1 with victories over Halifax, George Washington, and Franklin County High Schools. The men won every event over George Washington and Franklin County and every event except the 200 Free Relay over Halifax. The men were lead by Sophomore Patrick Martelli, Junior James Eu, and Freshman Jacob Dole all of which won two events. Jacob Dole won both the 50 free and 100 Free, Patrick Martelli won the 200 IM and 100 Fly and James Eu won both the 200 Free and 500 Free. All cadet winning events were Mike Wheeler and Graham Wooten. Mike wheeler won the 100 Breaststroke and Graham won the 100 Backstroke. The men swam very well last night and made Hargrave proud. The men are next in action against state power house Norfolk Academy on January 6^th. The men will need to train hard and stay focused between now and than if they wish to stay undefeated.
