Varsity Swimming/Diving vs. VES

Hargrave 155 – VES 94

The Hargrave boys swam to an easy win in their first meet of the season. For several of the boys it was their first swim meet ever, and they all did very well. There were many impressive swims, including a 22.12 second 50 Free by Ryan Inwood, only .67 away from an all-American time, and a 52.40 second 100 Butterfly by Pat Martelli, only .49 away from an all-American time. Notable performances by first-time competitors included a 29.07 second 50 Free by Joe Davis! The tigers showed just how dangerous they can be when they are wet!
