We have completed the Varsity Season of Swimming by finishing third in Tuesday’s Conference Meet. The Tigers fought hard and led the meet until the final 3 events where we slipped to third. The place isn’t the full story, though, as many of the boys dropped considerable time, demonstrating a strong fighting spirit and determination.
For the first time in my four years here, I was named the VIC coach of the year.
We also had four cadets qualify for the next level. In all, our four swimmers qualified in a total of 14 events for State Championships.
Considering the experience level of the team, it was a great showing and lays a strong foundation for next year.
