The Wrestling team had a very successful meet at Appomattox defeating teams from Randolph-Henry, Appomattox and Rustburg.
In the first match of the night the Tigers beat a very undermanned Randolph-Henry team. Most of our Wrestlers did not even take the mat. In the second pairing, the team found itself in a tough fight with Appomattox. In the end the Tigers came out on top by a score of 50-23. In the final match of the evening, the team went on a tear and defeated Rustburg 64-9. The Tigers go into the Christmas break with a 2nd place finish at the Tiger Invitational and a dual meet record of 6-1.
Special congratulations go out to Cadets Saul Snell and Daniel Hodges, who each got their first carrier victories last night. Cadets Daniel Koenig (5-0), Dakota Wetherbee (9-1), Joel Corpening (8-1), Christian Mitchell (7-1), and William Glenn (7-2) each had multiple wins on the night and help lead the team to victory.
The Tigers go back into action on January 5th at the LCA Bulldog Invitational Tournament.
