Varsity Wrestling vs. VIC Championship

April 27, 2011

The Tiger’s came from behind on Saturday to win the VIC wrestling championship. After getting behind in the first round the team really stepped up their intensity and came on strong to win going away. The team scores were as follows: Hargrave 197, Roanoke Catholic 131, Covenant School 127, Lynchburg Christian 117, Miller School 117, North Cross 84 and Fishburne Military 52. The following wrestlers competed for HMA: 103 Nick DiAndrea 1st place, 112 John Sasser 3rd place, 119 Teddy Wynne 4th place, 125 Jared Reutter 1st place, 130 Page Mizell 2nd place, 135 Garret Torney 3rd place, 140 Patrick Bates 2nd place, 145 Dane Noeth 1st place, 152 Stephen Smither, 160 Robert Jordan 1st place, 171 Nate Wollens 3rd place, 189 Max Nelson 4th place, 215 Daniel Lambi 3rd place and 275 Bill McMillan 1st place.
