Since we, as a team, had beat all the teams in our conference, we were hoping to bring home another championship. Alas, we came home with individual medals, but no team trophy.
Cameron Spangler and Quinn Griffith came home with gold medals, as they expected, but Nick Duran really stepped up his game and earned his first medal by clinching first place in his weight class. Nice job for a first-year wrestler.
2nd place goes to Magnus McCluer and Kevin White.
3rd placers include Sebastian Richardson, Deven Wallace, and Max Hohimer
4th placers are Gabe Medlin and Tyler Morris.
All of the above have earned their spot at the State tournament, so wish them luck!
