XC Continues To Improve

The Tigers Cross Country team continues to lower their times as they placed fourth at the CHARCS Invitational this past weekend. Cooler weather, fast competition, and hard work resulted in improved performances throughout the team. This was evident as Mason Schrage (19:09) and Weley Marquardt (19:39) posted runs under twenty minutes for the first time this season. Luke Adkins (20:19), Negatu Syrcle (21:09) and Scott Kennedy (21:10) keep progressing and were able to score for the Tigers.
Jay Thompson (22:07), Caleb Chester (22:12), Ethan Teluk (24:34), Bohong Yang (27:00), and Bennett Soles (27:14) embraced the team effort by pacing each other and earned lower times. Coach Broomell and the staff are proud of the teams effort and performance and looks to build upon the their success at North Cross on October 3rd.

“Hard work, given time, beats talent!”
