This year's Tiger Invitational Wrestling Tournament was a great success. We had seven teams represented this year. Your Tigers finished 3rd overall in the team standings.
Varsity Swimming/Diving vs. VIC Swim Meet

We have completed the Varsity Season of Swimming by finishing third in Tuesday's Conference Meet. The Tigers fought hard and led the meet until the final 3 events where we slipped to third.

The swim team had a great showing at today's meet against one of its tougher competitors. We were able to revenge our loss to North Cross earlier in the year by winning against them today 203 to 133!

hearty congratulations is in order for all of our Hargrave Swimmers who competed against Fishburne Military Academy today. We had great swims from all of our athletes. Out of the eleven events total, our swimmers won ten. We also won the overall meet by over 200 points.

The Tigers played their final regular season game against a very tough LCA squad. Hargrave played well but was overwhelmed by the offensive prowess of the Bulldogs.

Hargrave 0 - Eastern Mennonite 8 The Tigers took on a very skilled Eastern Mennonite team and came up short. Forrest Brown, Dapo Omisore, Nick Fallen and Kip Gore all had shots up front, but could not find the back of the net.
Varsity Soccer vs. Fishburne Military School

The Tigers held their own against Fishburne Military Academy and came earned a well deserved win. In the first half, Fishburne scored first in the m16th minute but Dapo Omisore was able to outmaneuver his defender and take a shot to tie us up in the 26th minute.

Hargrave faced a tough opponent in Carlisle but good pressure and a tough defense (Ben Baker, Josh Sadler, Evan Starks, and Nick Fallen), kept us competitive for much of the game!

The Varsity soccer team took on the Bishops of VES and came out tied 1-1 after two overtime periods. The Bishop’s scored first in the 19th minute to give them the lead.

Hargrave lost to Miller School in a very close match. Scoring first was Forrest Brown in the second minute of action. Miller tied it up in the 7th minute but Raad Al-shinibr gave us the lead once again in the 14th minute of play by receiving a ball from Ben Baker and burying it in the back of the net. Unfortunately, Miller would come back with a couple goals and go into the half with a lead of 3-2.

The Hargrave Tigers gained a much needed win against Roanoke Catholic. Scoring in the 7th minute was Dapo Omisore with Miles Pilkington receiving the assist. Roanoke Catholic tied it up in the 9th minute.

The Hargrave soccer team were first to score in the match against Covenant. Dapo Omisore, a recent arrival to the team, was able to chase down a chipped ball from Forrest Brown in the 6th minute of action and put the ball in the back of the net to give us the 1-0 lead.

Hargrave’s Tigers traveled to Lynchburg to take on Holy Cross. Sam Shuey had 9 saves in the goal and kept the Gaels at only two goals in the first half of action.
