USA Swimming vs. SEVA AG Christmas Championships

While the bulk of Hargrave Aquatics senior swimmers attended the Senior Cirucit #2 meet at the Midtown Aquatics Center in Virginia, the remainder of the team took the action to the THAT Age Group/Senior meet in Hillsborough, NC.
USA Swimming vs. GSA Pentathalon Meet

A fantastic, fun effort was shown by all the members of Hargrave Aquatics Gold and Silver groups. David West, Katheryn Thompson and Allie Cavedo managed to win Pentathalon medals. They won these medals by having the lowest total time out of five events.
USA Swimming vs. 2006 LY A/BB/B/C Mini Meet

Four Hargrave Aquatics swimmers represented the team for one day (Saturday) of this meet. Ali Stephens-Pickeral, our veteran 12 year old girl, had some solid swimming after only two weeks of training. She picked up a AA time in the 100 BST, too.

Four athletes represented Hargrave Aquatics this summer at LC Senior Champs. The seniors swam well, and are now looking forward to the fall.

Outstanding performances were turned in by Jennifer Murphy, age 14, and David West, age 12. Both individuals finaled in several events and set many best times.

The team kicked off the summer LC season with several solid swims at our first venture to a summer Goldsboro meet.

Hargrave Aquatics qualified eight swimmers for Age Group competition, which is a good chunk of our small team.
Varsity Golf vs. VIC Golf Tournament

The Hargrave Varsity Golf Team completed their season with a 38 stroke victory over the second place team. It was a great team effort, especially for seniors Brad Myers and Jacob Pryor, who wanted to graduate with the VIC trophy. Stephen Boyd was the medalist for the day shooting a 72 and then enduring a five hole 'sudden death playoff' to win.

The 2006 Blue Ridge Regional Championship proved to be the right place, the right time and the right opportunity for several members of Hargrave Aquatics, Chatham’s local club swimming team. The meet ran February 24-26, 2006, at the Jamerson YMCA facility in Lynchburg, Virginia. Ten members of the team represented the club at the meet.
Varsity Golf vs. Timberlake Christian School

The tigers closed out their regular season with a 149-182 victory over visiting Timberlake Christian. Shooting an impressive 4 under 32 was junior Stephen Boyd. He was followed by seniors Brad Myers 38 and Jacob Pryor 39. Rounding out the scoring was Ryan Short at 40. Also competing were Walker Gladding at 48 and, playing in his first ever VIC competition, John Mathena at 59. Next Monday we play for the league title. We have been pointing to this date all season long and it is now at hand. It is time for our play to do the talking. We will see!
