Hargrave had a very strong victory over Westover Christian of Danville, 42-12. The team played well and looked great. Grant Chandler was high man with 23 points.

Hargrave lost to a very good SHS team on 1/16/04. Grant Chandler had a very good game and we tried to give it our best on defense. They had a much improved offense and were deadly at the foul line.

Hargrave had a great victory over Timberlake in Lynchburg. Barclay Warren and Grant Chandler were scoring leaders. Greg Donovan and John Smith did a great job under the basket. Dave Rand Continues to improve as a reserve. The Tigers did a great defensive job and an outstanding job of ball control. All team members played and made contributions to this important victory. This team continues to improve!!! The next contest will be next Thursday against Westover. Thanks for your support!!!

Hargrave lost by 5 in a hard and bravely fought game. The team numbers were down due to several factors. After a slow start, the young Tigers did well and had the lead. Grant Chandler, Barclay Warren, and Greg Donovan made many contributions in scoring and floor leadership. Dave Rand did an outstanding job in a reserve role. All Hargrave people would have been proud of this young team and the courage they showed on Monday. We next play at Timberlake on Thursday. I am proud of their continued progress and courage. We continue to improve.
