Cadet Gavulic ’20 stands ready to hear the final results of the Drum Major competition at the 44th Military School Band and Choir Festival. The festival was held at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, VA. Twelve Hargrave cadets attended and participated in band, drum major, and choir activities, culminating in a combined performance.

Tigers Cap Off Big Stretch with Win in Dean Dome

February 27, 2020

On the "heels" of their First Piedmont Corp. Invitational Championship victory over Massanutten, the Hargrave Tigers took the trip to Chapel Hill, NC to play against UNC's JV team, where they emerged victorious, 95-82. With the win, the Tigers improve to 33-3 on the season.

On Wednesday evening, the #6 Hargrave Tigers saw their season end at the hands of the #3 Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks, 76-74, in the VISAA Division 2 State Tournament Elite Eight. The Tigers end their season at 22-7.

In just his 111th game as head coach of the Tigers, Martin earned his 100th career victory, all before his 30th birthday. “It’s a surreal feeling,” remarked Martin. “I have been extremely fortunate in my time here to be surrounded by great players and great people.
