The Tigers played against E.C. Glass on April 5th. The E.C. Glass team only had 5 players, technically that is a forfeit... but we played anyway with what we had. In 5 singles matches and three doubles, with the E.C. Glass coach filling in for the sixth team. We lost 0-8 total - but our games were closer than the VES match - losing at 3-8, 4-8.

On April 4th, the Tigers played against VES. The match tally was 1-8 in favor of the Bishops. Chase Cooper won his singles match. The game scores were either 1-8, 0-8, or 3-8.

Yesterday the Junior Varsity Tennis Team played against Sacred Heart in Danville. The boys were in good form, a doubles win for Sean Hoffman and Justin Gibbons. Also, Gibbons came from a 1-6 to a 6-8 score against an experienced player in the #1 seed position for singles. Team came back to HMA around 8:25 p.m. The team has one last home match against Sacred Heart next Tuesday at 4:00, and an away match against the Varsity squad from Randolph Henry on May 2nd. The JV Tennis team played VES, their high school squad. We came away with some game wins, with Justin Gibbons and Sean Hoffman playing a tight doubles match against some very experienced opponets.
