The Varsity Lacrosse team once again established it's dominance within the military school lacrosse ranks with a dominate performance and big conference win over the Caissons of Fishburne.
Varsity Baseball defeats Fork Union
April 17, 2016
The Varsity Baseball team defeated Fork Union Military Academy April 14th by a final score of 10-6. At the top half of the fifth inning, the score was in FUMA's favor 4-2. Then, Hargrave's bats got hot scoring three runs on a 3 RBI triple by Mark Loving. Hargrave continued the timely hitting, scoring five runs in the top half of the 6th inning from a big double by Logan Barker and Mattox Lawson. FUMA then rallied and scored two runs in the 6th inning, but Hargrave's defense and pitching stopped them there. Offensively the Tigers were led by Mattox Lawson going 2-3 with a big homerun and 2 RBI's, Logan Barker 2-4 with a double and 2 RBI's, and Mark Loving who went 3-4 with 3 RBI's. Loving got the win on the mound throwing 6 strong innings, striking out 6 FUMA hitters.
