Varsity Soccer Defeat Southwest VA Homeschool

The Tigers traveled to Roanoke on Friday to face Southwest VA Home School looking to avenge their early season loss. In a tight contest from beginning to end, the Tigers were able to pull out a 1-0 win.
Tigers Win Third Straight Against Miller

The Tigers took to the pitch in another VIC clash against the Miller Mavericks out of Charlottesville on Wednesday afternoon. Getting off to a slow start, the Tigers were able to get it going in the second half for the 6-1 victory.
Varsity Soccer Wins in Final Minutes Against Blue Ridge

The Tigers took on the Barons of Blue Ridge School on Friday evening in their first VIC (Virginia Independent Conference) clash of the season. It was a tight contest throughout and the Tigers were able to prevail with a late game winner for the 2-1 win.

In a battle that went back and forth for the entire game, the Tigers were finally able to break the deadlock in the 75th minute to earn their first win of the season 1-0.
Abouzied Earns U-18 Egyptian National Team Spot

Of the 60 kids that tried out for the Under-18 Egyptian National soccer team, Hargrave's own Youssef Abouzied (Cairo, Egypt) earned a spot. Abouzied, son of Taher Abouzied,who is now the Minister of State for Sports for Egypt was also on a national team which he helped them win the 1986 African Cup of Nations.
Eubank Selected For Service Academies Summer Camp

Coach Eubank is the only high school in coach in the country to earn this honor among Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 coaches that will be on staff during the respective sessions.

Tigers Win Against Rival on Senior Night

The Tigers returned home on Friday to face rival Fishburne Military School Caissons in the final regular season match on Senior Night. The seniors paved the way for the 6-3 victory on Friday.
Tigers Escape the Bishops

The Tigers were able to escape with a 2-1 win over the Bishops. The Tigers will play their final regular season game this Friday at the Simpson Parade Field at 4:30. Prior to the game, the seniors will be honored in the traditional senior ceremony at 4:00 PM.

The Tigers hit the road on Tuesday to face VIC conference foe Miller School in Charlottesville. Starting out strong, the Tigers were able to hold off a late rally by Miller for the 6-2 win to improve on the season 10-1-1 overall and 4-0-1 in conference.

The Tigers hit the field on Thursday in their lone match of the week to take on arch rival Fork Union Military Academy. In what is always a fierce battle, the Tigers were able to take an early lead in the first half and stretch the field of play in the second half to win 5-2.
